The Moffatt Memorial
Heather Ouipp

This plaque is located in a clearing north of Mountain Road near the junction of Vanier Road in Lucerne, Que. It is on land originally settled by Alexander Moffat and it was unveiled in a ceremony on 23 September 1973 by Mrs. Walter Moffat and her grandson, Barry Faris, shown above. James Moffat, mentioned on the plaque, could not be present.
This was a joint venture of Mrs. Moffatt and The Historical Society of the Gatineau.
