Early Gatineau Sports

Have you heard of the ball teams called ‘the DADS’ and ‘the LADS‘? The great ball games between these two teams were played at Kirk's Ferry before the Gatineau River was flooded. My father, Charles Duncan Graham, was one of the team of ‘the DADS’ and I, a little girl, was a very excited and encouraging spectator.
