The new road in the THEN image is Highway 11 (now Route 105). To the right of the first curve of the new road is the Larrimac Golf Course.
In the THEN view, notice agricultural land between the old and new railway rights of way. It will be flooded when the water level is raised. In the lower left quarter of the picture we can see 30 to 40 rail cars parked on a siding.
In the NOW photo, Autoroute 5 is just visible in the top left corner.
