Remembrance Day - Chelsea Cenotaph
The annual November 11th Remembrance Day ceremony in Chelsea is held at the Pioneer Cemetary at the grave of Richard Rowland Thomson. His Boer War Heroism was recognized by the Queen's "scarf of honour", one of only eight in the world, crocheted by Queen Victoria herself.
Chelsea Cenotaph
The Chelsea Cenotaph at the Pioneer Cemetary honours the lives of those who were lost during active service of World War I and II. The Cenotapth displays the names and details of the 10 men from Chelsea.
